Build the palette
Our proposed palette is one school-inspired accent with white. Use the accent in a small repeated detail such as napkins or table cards. Choose any school marks only when you have the right to use them.
Set the scope
Decide whether guests eat at once or arrive over a longer period. The default model assumes one meal and dessert per guest; adjust if that is not your event.
Test one complete setting
Place the actual plate, cup, napkin, and utensils together before counting the order. Measure the remaining space for serving. Keep optional styling separate from essential pieces so the budget can be reduced without breaking the plan.
Make a packing and reset list
Group the place-setting pieces, serving pieces, linens, and cleanup items separately. Record which are already owned. Leave room in the checklist for menu-specific items instead of assuming one generic party kit contains everything needed.
