Build the palette
Our proposed palette is butter yellow and white. Use a neutral base and a light accent. Build one sample setting with the menu in mind, then count the exact utensils it needs.
Set the scope
If coffee, water, and juice use separate vessels, add those to the list. The default cup count assumes one general cup per guest and does not cover every drink change.
Test one complete setting
Place the actual plate, cup, napkin, and utensils together before counting the order. Measure the remaining space for serving. Keep optional styling separate from essential pieces so the budget can be reduced without breaking the plan.
Make a packing and reset list
Group the place-setting pieces, serving pieces, linens, and cleanup items separately. Record which are already owned. Leave room in the checklist for menu-specific items instead of assuming one generic party kit contains everything needed.
